Contact Info

Contact Info

You can reach us using the details below. We use email as our main channel; for formal or official correspondence we can provide our full postal address on request.

We hide our contact details behind a short “hold to reveal” step because we have repeatedly been targeted by identity theft, impersonation, and other forms of cybercrime. Our work—take-downs, abuse prevention, and supporting a safer internet—sometimes attracts hostile attention. Hiding the data from the raw page source and requiring a deliberate action to reveal it reduces automated harvesting and makes it a bit harder for bad actors to misuse our identity or contact channels. We ask for your understanding.

What We Use Your Data For

When you contact us, we process your message and contact details only to answer your request or to handle the matter you raised. We do not add you to marketing lists, share your data with third parties for advertising, or keep more than we need. If your inquiry leads to an ongoing exchange, we retain the relevant correspondence for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose (e.g. support, contract, or follow-up). After that, we delete or anonymise data in line with our retention policy.

We work on a data-minimisation basis: we collect and store only what is required to run our services and to communicate with you. That reduces the risk of misuse and keeps our systems simple and auditable. For more detail on your rights and how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.

Why We Are Data-Sparse

We operate on the principle that less data is better. We do not use tracking, analytics, or third-party scripts on this site; we do not sell or trade personal data; and we do not keep contact details or correspondence longer than necessary. That approach is partly a matter of legal compliance (e.g. GDPR), and partly a conscious choice: the less we hold, the less can leak, be misused, or become a burden to secure.

For contact in particular, this means we use a single shared mailbox for most traffic, we do not profile you beyond what is needed to answer your message, and we do not pass your data to partners unless it is strictly necessary (e.g. to resolve a security report with a registry or operator). We believe that serious projects can be transparent about what they do with data without collecting more than they need.

What to Expect

We read every message we receive and aim to reply within a few working days where a response is needed. For simple questions we often respond quickly; for complex or technical matters it may take longer. We do not guarantee a fixed response time. If your message concerns a security issue, abuse report, or a request that we forward to another party, we will handle it according to our internal procedures and may not reply in detail if the matter is passed on.

If you write in a language we can work with (e.g. English or German), we will usually reply in that language. For formal or legal inquiries, please include enough context and, if applicable, reference numbers or deadlines, so we can process your request properly.
